PHM stands in solidarity and support with the people of Venezuela following the devastating earthquakes

The People's Health Movement expresses its deepest solidarity and support for the people of Venezuela in the wake of the devastating earthquakes on June 24 that have affected the country, causing loss of life, injuries, destruction of homes and infrastructure, and the displacement of thousands of families. We share in the grief of those who have lost loved ones and express our support for all affected communities. PHM Latin America has formed a committee to show support and solidarity with the Venezuelan people, with the aim of coordinating information and humanitarian assistance during these critical times and supporting reconstruction efforts once the emergency has been resolved.

The Israeli Medical Association (IMA) has remained silent as Palestinian health workers were targeted amid the genocide in Gaza and ethnic cleansing in the West Bank, endorsing Israel's policies. Taking action against the IMA is necessary to stand with Palestinian health workers, and demand accountability.
