The People's Health Movement (global) and the Action Front for Palestine (Colombia) are organizing and promoting a global campaign to help rebuild Palestine's health system and guarantee Palestinians' right to health.
Palestine's health system is in serious crisis. Years of occupation, blockade, and restrictions have left hospitals and health centers poorly equipped, staff reduced and overworked, and patients without comprehensive health care.
Israel's recent genocidal war against Gaza has worsened conditions: medical facilities destroyed, health workers killed or imprisoned, ambulances blocked by more than 900 checkpoints, and patients prevented from accessing the medical services they need, all in flagrant violation of international conventions protecting medical missions and the right to health.
Despite this, local health organizations continue to save lives under difficult conditions, providing emergency care, maternal and child health, treatment for chronic diseases, and mental health support to isolated communities.
This campaign aims to bring support for three health organizations in Palestine:
• Health Work Committees (HWC) - West Bank
• Palestinian Medical Relief Society (PMRS) – West Bank and Gaza
• Al Awda Community Health Association (AWDA) – Gaza
To stand with them is to stand for humanity, dignity, and the right to health.
Donate today to help keep Palestine's health system alive!

AWDA and PMRS in Gaza continue to provide life-saving care under unimaginable conditions — facing constant bombardment, crippling shortages, and immense personal risk. Despite everything, they remain on the frontlines of hope.
AWDA: All 6 health and community centres across Gaza have been destroyed. Rebuilding each will cost around USD 2 million. In the north, Al-Awda Hospital in Jabalia – Tal Al Zaatar, once the last functioning hospital in the area, is now completely destroyed and uninhabitable. Full reconstruction will require USD 30 million. The human cost has been devastating: 31 staff members have been killed — six while on duty — and seven abducted, including hospital director Ahmed Muhanna, who was unjustly detained in December 2023 and recently freed.
PMRS: Since the beginning of the genocide, PMRS has delivered critical medical services to thousands in Gaza. On 22 September 2025, its cornerstone facility, the Al Samer Clinic in Gaza City, was deliberately destroyed in an airstrike. Rebuilding it will cost USD 2.6 million.
In the West Bank, the Health Work Committees (HWC) are facing mounting challenges in 2025 as escalating military operations, movement restrictions, and funding shortfalls strain their ability to provide basic healthcare.Ambulances and healthcare workers are regularly delayed or blocked by checkpoints, road closures, and new gates, especially in areas like Hebron, Jenin, Nablus, and Salfit.
Through unimaginable loss, AWDA, HWC and PMRS remain symbols of courage and compassion — saving lives where almost everything else has been destroyed.
Your donation will fund the reconstruction of destroyed hospitals and clinics, provide medical equipment and medicines, and support health workers who have lost everything while caring for others.
Every contribution — no matter the size — is a lifeline.
