In this episode of Charter for Health we take a look into the current situation of human and health rights defenders, and health workers in the Philippines, as well as the economic pressure on people to access health in the asian archipelago.

Our guest is a public health physician and health rights defender, Delen De la Paz, she is the national Coordinator of PHM in the Philippines. She is also the Chairperson of Health Alliance for Democracy (HEAD), an NGO with members from among health workers and health students working for the people’s right to health access for free, comprehensive and quality health care services within a strengthened public health system in the context of struggle for nationalism and democracy.
