As People's Health Movement (PHM) Its Global Secretariat and the Communications Program, we are very happy to present Charter4Health a new podcast series on the right to health.
The movement towards universal health coverage (UHC) is currently among the most prominent global health policies. According to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, all UN Member States agreed to work towards achieving Universal Health Coverage by 2030. This includes financial risk protection, access to quality essential health-care services and access to safe, effective, quality and affordable essential medicines and vaccines for all.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, deep and extensive social impacts were felt throughout the globe, way beyond the public health crisis. The responses of governments and the international community made evident the structural inequality and injustices of the current economic and political order, with dramatic effects in the Global South.
World Health Day provides us an opportunity to look at health in its widest form and highlight the most pressing issues of our times. PHM Europe put together a social media campaign to bring everyone’s focus on what ails people’s health in Europe.
