Now is the time for action

After months of mobilization in country circles and thematic groups from around the world, 627 activists (352 delegates from 60 countries and 275 from Argentina) gathered in Mar del Plata, Argentina, six years after the 4th People's Health Assembly in Savar, Bangladesh and after the PHM struggle for equity in vaccines and treatments against COVID-19.

On its closing day, the 5th People's Health Assembly the declaration and call to action of Mar del Plata 2024 was read and live streamed on the PHM website https://phmovement.org/ and on our YouTube channel .

After the reading of the call to action and as a closing ceremony of the Assembly, the participating delegations rally through the streets of Mar del Plata to the coast in a circle and chants for freedom.
