Health, the Environment and a Dignified Life Are Rights, Not Privileges

The 5th National Congress for Health, the Environment, and Life of Colombia calls for a broader understanding of the right to health—one that extends beyond healthcare to encompass food, housing, decent work, education, clean water, a healthy environment, peace and community participation. As the National Movement for Health and Social Welfare marks its 25th anniversary, its members reaffirm that protecting these conditions is essential to ensuring a dignified life for all.
