Bilal Irfan is a bioethicist who conducts research at Harvard's Brigham & Women’s Hospital and the University of Michigan. His ongoing work spans conflict and health, epidemiology, culturally conscious care, Alzheimer’s and dementia care, infectious disease, orthopaedic trauma, otorhinolaryngology, sleep health, and the intersection of policy, innovative technology, and healthcare delivery.

He has published over 100 peer-reviewed articles in medical journals including in The Lancet, BMJ, NEJM, and JAMA groups, sits on multiple Editorial Boards, and has had his work featured in the BBC, The Guardian, Al Jazeera, Middle East Eye, TRT World, ABC News, among other outlets.
