Health Denied, Palestine

Health Denied is a short and powerful documentary on the dire health situation in Gaza during the ongoing Israeli war against the Gazan people. It shows how the Israeli war machine targets health workers and services all over the Gaza Strip, in blattant violation of international humanitarian law. The systemic attacks against the Palestinian health system the last 6 months, resulting in the death of dozens of Palestinian health workers on duty, has been denounced by the UN and the WHO, but without any result. Being a health worker in Gaza means putting your own life at risk. This documentary is a testimony to that, and honours those who put their lives on the spot for the Palestinian people. The documentary was produced by Bisan Center for Research and Development, a member of the People´s Health Movement (PHM)
