Desde el Movimiento por la Salud de los Pueblos manifestamos nuestra solidaridad con el pueblo Nasa y con todos y todas las familias que han perdido dirigentes y dirigentas sociales en Colombia.
Durante las protestas en Latinoamérica en 2020 fuimos testigas y testigos del valor inconmensurable de la Guardia Indígena del Cauca (Pueblo Nasa) que aupó con cuerpos y vidas la consecución de una mejor Colombia para todos y todas. Mucha de la fortaleza que hoy se mide en las urnas, viene de esa fuente de lucha.
En este año 41 líderes y lideresas han sido asesinados y es repudiable la cifra de 1326 lideres y lideresas asesinadas desde la firma del Acuerdo de Paz en el Colombia; el 50% de las y los lideres asesinados en el Cauca han sido indígenas. Con horror e impotencia escuchamos no solo el asesinato diario sino el reclutamiento de jóvenes indígenas en sus escuelas para la guerra. Las autoridades del CRIC han dado la alerta. Con dolor hoy nos unimos al pueblo Nasa en su indignación ante el asesinato de su querida autoridad Miller Correa y abrazamos a su esposa Dora Muñoz- formadora en Comunicaci{on Intercultural de la Universidad Indígena del Consejo Regional Indígena del Cauca- CRIC.
Queremos que sepan que no están solos, que los ojos del mundo están en Colombia y que el jueves estaremos en espíritu en la siembra de su cuerpo en el resguardo de Tacueyó
