El 2 de noviembre de 2022, en el auditorio Margarita González del Edificio de posgrados de la facultad de Ciencias Humanas de la Universidad Nacional de Colombia se realizó el lanzamiento para Colombia de la sexta edición del Observatorio de salud global, libro editado por el Movimiento por la Salud de los Pueblos, en el evento bajo el título “Las luchas por la salud en colombia y el mundo”, también se lanzó el libro "Movilizaciones sociales por la salud en Colombia", una publicación de la Pontificia Universidad Javeriana y la Universidad Nacional de Colombia con la edición de Jairo Ernesto Luna García, Mauricio Torres Tovar del MSP Colombia y Román Vega Romero, Coordinador Global del MSP. El evento tuvo la participación y presentaciones de Ronald Labonté, Profesor de la Universidad de Ottawa y coeditor del Observatorio de salud global quien presentó el OSG6, Erika Arteaga y Baj Mukhopadhyay del círculo temático del MSP sobre medio ambiente y salud de los ecosistemas hablaron del capítulo de Modelos de desarrollo, extractivismo y medio ambiente, por su parte Susana Barria del MSP abordó el tema de la Privatización de los sistemas de salud, sobre la contribución del OSG6 en la lucha por la salud y la equidad hablará René Loewenson de Zimbawe, perteneciente al TARSC/EQUINET. La presentación del libro Las movilizaciones sociales por la salud en Colombia estuvo a cargo de uno de los editores del libro, Mauricio Torres del MSP Colombia.
