The Silent Pandemic: Workshop on Antimicrobial Resistance and Strategies for Action in the Face of Agenda 2024

Antimicrobial resistance is the next horizon for medicine and the world at large. Resistant bacteria influence crops and thus will determine what we eat, how and whether we are able to treat minor infections, such as sore throats, or other infections such as HIV and tuberculosis, and will influence our environment as well.

Yet access to more modern medicines is out of reach in the developing world.
