The Million Signature Campaign
 Every
24 hours, over 30,000 children will die from preventable diseases
on our planet earth. Today, while the world is writing a collective obituary
of the future generation, we know why they are dying; we know who are
responsible for these deaths.
We know how these deaths can be stopped. This signature campaign which
was initiated by the People's Health Movement and the International People's
Health Council and is being endorsed by ordinary people from various walks
of life and organizations, institutions, peoples associations and others
working for a just world.

Women's Access to Health Campaign
 The
Women's Access to Health Campaign (WAHC) was launched in 2003 by
Women's Global Network for Reproductive Rights (WGNRR) in collaboration
with PHM to raise awareness and strengthen efforts to promote women's
health with a primary health care approach.
It functions, among others, as a tool to promote collaboration and exchange
of experiences and information between members of WGNRR and members of
PHM. The campaign adds to the Alma Ata slogan regularly used by PHM, "Health
for All", by explicitly addressing women's different situation in
accessing health: Health for All - Health for Women.

Save Unicef Campaign
 Since
the U.S. government rammed the appointment of Ms. Veneman through the
office of the Secretary General and UNICEF Executive Board in January
this year, the People's Health Movement circulated
an 'Open Letter of Concern' protesting the secret nomination and
closed confirmation processes. The letter attracted thousands of signatures.
The People's Health Movement recognizes that all children have a right
to a healthy and dignified future, and that UNICEF has for six decades
been the international organization charged with vigilance over and fulfillment
of that future. This site focuses on the corporate takeover of healthcare.
