PHM releases the first list of products, aimed for boycott in India.

Urgent press Release: Bangalore (India) - 20th March 2003

"Boycott US and UK Campaign" - Drop their shops and STOP THE WAR!

The People's Health Movement (PHM) today launched "BOYCOTT US AND UK CAMPAIGN" that marks the beginning of a series of global campaigns to stop the American and British War against Iraq.

PHM calls upon its member organizations, health workers and medical professionals and people around the world to contribute individually and collectively to put pressure on the governments of US and UK to STOP THE WAR!

Denouncing the US and British aggression as the beginning of a new colonialism being waged on behalf of their oil and weapons corporations, the PHM calls all those against this war to Boycott all American and British products! (This may include any food, drink, cosmetics, petroleum products etc. Harmful products like cigarettes etc. also may be targeted. In the case of pharmaceuticals, the list may have to be selective and may follow the boycott wherever alternatives are available).
